12th Biennial IGIC Conference – Running towards GeoAwesomeness

When: April 7-9, 2015
Where:  Central College (http://www NULL.central NULL.edu/), Pella

Iowa is “Running Towards GeoAwesomeness” and we would like you and your organization to be a part!

The 12th Biennial IGIC conference is organized by the Iowa Geographic Information Council as an opportunity for GIS users across the state of Iowa and the Midwest to network with other GIS’ers and learn more about geospatial technologies! This year’s conference will feature an enhanced schedule geared toward attendees with varying degrees of GIS and mapping backgrounds.

Geospatial industries from across the Midwest support IGIC and the conference. We are currently finalizing our conference schedule. Please check back on a regular basis for updates or contact IGIC members listed for more information about presenting, sponsoring or participating in conference activities.

As a GIS professional, it is your responsibility and opportunity to help other professionals by presenting your expertise and experiences to help solve problems, collaborate with your peers, and demonstrate lessons you and your organization have learned. In addition there is always something else to learn from the discussion stimulated by your presentation or workshop. Not only can you share how you apply GIS technologies to solve your challenges, you can also discover how others are applying geospatial technologies to solve their challenges. You can explore the technologies, software, and services offered by private sector firms in an informal environment.
